Power-Loks are recognized by their 2-piece case design. The Power-Loc is a very strong unit due to the 4 spider gear design which offers two times as many teeth to carry the load as a 2 spider gear device does.
This positraction was originally manufactured but discontinued by Dana Spicer. The Power-Lok incorporates a two piece case design with six internal forged gear which provides toughness. Composite clutches are utilized for longer life and smooth overall performance. The unit is totally rebuild-able, these new units are put together in the the US.
